Counseling is probably the most important thing we do in our office in terms of saving lives and preventing illnesses. Most people today die of one of the following: heart disease, cancer, stroke, lung disease and pneumonia. A good portion of these illnesses can be prevented or at least postponed for a long time.

Most of us are aware of ways to prevent disease and prolong life. For example: exercise, diet, and weight control. In general, these are difficult for many people to put into practice. With a bit of help from professionals, often times ways can be found to make the necessary changes. In addition, it is our experience that many people are not aware of all the interventions and lifestyle changes proven to prevent disease and prolong life. The staff have found that helping people make positive lifestyle changes is very rewarding.
